Mashable talks about a new app that tells consumers how much sugar is in your “favorite” foods. Scan most any food product in UK, and the app will return how much sugar is in the product – cool!

Developed by the  Public Health England (PHE), this a great example of how ordinary products can be connected to great content.

From Mashable: “The free app, from Public Health England (PHE), works by scanning barcodes and revealing the item’s sugar content in terms of grams or equivalent cubes. It can be used on more than 75,000 products.”
