Linkz enabled CocoMojo drinks brand wins UK Packaging Award –
Linkz customer CocoMojo has won the Best re-packaging of a brand category in the prestigious 2014 UK Packaging Awards, celebrating outstanding packaging design and innovation.
CocoMojo, a refreshingly different range of healthy drinks based on coconut juice, vitamins and herbs is the first of its type in the UK . CocoMojo pipped multiple other FMCG brands to win the award including the Sainsburys Basics range and Wilko stores.
The design brief was to re-evaluate the CocoMojo brand personality and reposition it in an increasingly crowded and emerging market. CocoMojo won the award with a revamped design identity using a new style cardboard can and rolling it out across all packaging. Adopting a more confident, fun approach the CocoMojo packaging contains a ‘personality’ based Interactive Marketing campaign using Linkz, which consumers scan (with the Linkz app.) to access live content to find out more about the product, take part in a fun “Coconut Test,” enter a competition to win CocoMojo prize packs, and share on social media.
One judge said there was a “dramatic improvement,” while another said it was “great packaging that brings personality”.
