Berkshire Labels adds value to labels with Linkz
Berkshire Labels has partnered with print-to-mobile specialist Linkz-IM Ltd, to offer its clients the Linkz interactive print platform. Their clients can now create, manage and measure interactive printed labels as part of end-users’ mobile experience. Their client Premiere Products has become the latest to adopt the revolutionary Linkz technology, and unveiled its new range of interactive peel and read labels at the recent ISSA Interclean show in Amsterdam.
Linkz offers printers an innovative, but simple way to bring extra value to their regular line-up of services. An account with the Linkz website allows brands to convert PDFs into active label artwork, connect these to powerful mobile-friendly websites and measure the ultimate responses. This results in a powerful marketing communications channel that encourages consumers to engage and respond directly with any item. This also results in a better understanding of customer behaviour.
Linkz encoded labels have been manufactured by Berkshire Labels and rolled out across the entire Premiere Products range. Their labels when scanned with a smartphone, connect customers to a selection of mobile digital content. This includes training videos, safety data sheets, technical information, offers and helpful tips. The Linkz platform also includes the ability to create a dedicated mobile-optimised website with no programming or HTML knowledge required and the ability to track comprehensive data on the interactions taking place.
Paul Roscoe, Managing Director, Berkshire Labels said: “It’s been great to work with Linkz and Premiere Products right from the early stages of discussing all possibilities, through to embedding the Linkz technology, while meeting tight deadlines and supporting a new brand launch.”
Peter Brown, Director of Innovations, Sales & Marketing, Premiere Products said: “Premiere’s innovative partnership with Berkshire Labels demonstrates our commitment to raising customer service levels across our trade markets ensuring we maximise brand education and global sales opportunities. Berkshire Labels came to the table with some great innovations such as Linkz that enabled us to fulfil our goals.”
Robert Berkeley, Chairman, Linkz-IM added: “Printers understand that they need to find ways of adding to their print services to remain a leader in the new digital world. The Linkz print-to-mobile platform has clearly given Berkshire Labels a strong competitive edge. Its relationship with Premiere Products has been strengthened in part by adding a smart on-pack communications tool to its service offering.”
